4Degrees was founded by two VC/PE consultants who believed that current CRM and technology suites were poorly equipped to help organizations manage their most important source of opportunity: their networks. The challenge was that the company was unknown – and the market had yet to fully understand how problematic, inefficient, and ineffective their current means of relationship intelligence were.

This Disrupt-Define-Own strategy resulted in a number of executive spotlights, the insertion of relationship intelligence into leadership conversations, and analyst briefings that unveiled potential go-to-market strategies.
RPG supported 4Degrees’ launch as part of our contribution to the Diversity Marketing Consortium. Through narrative development, a formal press announcement, and a proactive media and analyst program, we helped establish 4Degrees’ relationship intelligence software as the way forward in a digital or hybrid enterprise. RPG held media training and narrative development sessions with 4Degrees, created press materials showcasing momentum, and prepared and executed against a number of types of media and analyst engagements (from briefings, to Q&As, to podcasts, to expert commentary, and more). During a time of digital transformation and technology acceleration spurred by pandemic disruption, it was the perfect time to own this conversation and raise awareness of why momentum was building.
